Pink Power Smoothie

My kids made up the name for this and it stuck. Smoothies are a great way to pack in nutrients, build immunity, reduce inflammation, and of course add a healthy meal/snack to your day. Those of you that follow me regularly know that I LOVE smoothies, and this is the most popular one in my house. I make sure I load this smoothie with the stuff that will help reduce inflammation ( free radicals ) in my body, keep my immune system healthy, and load my body with fruits and veggies to give myself some much needed energy. I use a plant based protein, but feel free to omit and just add a 1 TBSP of raw local honey. An additional bonus to this power drink is that my kids LOVE it, like tears when they don't see there smoothie cups out on the counter while I'm making mine.

Pink Power Smoothie

This also freezes great to make fun smoothie pops for you or your kids during the hot summer months. There may seem like a lot of ingredients in this bad boy, but that's just because there's a lot of good that it does for your body. I hope your enjoy and keep eating and treating your body well.
